The museum asks. The world answers — one pot at a time. 박물관이 물었습니다. 세계가 한 그릇씩 답합니다.

The exhibition The Buried Vessels Are Not Yet Finished displays pots that became trash a hundred years ago in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. This webzine collects pots that haven't — yet. Each submission is a vessel still in use, still on a shelf somewhere, still holding someone's morning coffee or grandmother's recipe. Together, they are tomorrow's archaeology.

전시 《묻힌 그릇들은 아직 끝나지 않았다》는 100년 전 성동구에서 쓰레기가 된 도자기들을 보여줍니다. 이 웹진은 — 아직 쓰레기가 되지 않은 도자기들을 모읍니다. 누군가의 부엌에 여전히 놓여있는 그릇, 아침 커피를 담는 머그컵, 할머니가 물려준 반찬통. 이것들이 모여 — 내일의 고고학이 됩니다.

Pots thrown away 100 years ago in Seongdong-gu. 100년 전 성동구에서 버려진 그릇들.
Cracked rims. Burnt bottoms. Cups that no longer poured straight. Trash, the kind nobody mourned. Now in display cases, a hundred years later, finally being looked at. 금 간 입구. 그을린 바닥. 더 이상 똑바로 따라지지 않는 잔. 누구도 슬퍼하지 않은 쓰레기. 100년이 지난 지금, 마침내 진열장 안에서 다시 들여다봐집니다.

Submit a photo of pottery you actually live with — a bowl, a mug, a vessel from your country. It joins the counter-archive, and waits. A hundred years from now, somebody will open this page and look at your pot the way you now look at the ones in the museum.
